I was brought up in a fairly musical family; my Mum taught music in school, and a lot of extended family members had some relation to music. From an early age, I was encouraged to play a musical instrument, and started playing the recorder when I was about 6. I was given a guitar when I was 8 and had lessons on it for many more years. Around the same time, a local brass band did a recruitment drive and came into my school to advertise. I joined on euphonium, and have since moved on to play an Eb tuba with the band (see here). I purchased my first electric guitar when I was 13, and was gifted a bass guitar around the same time. I still play both types of guitar, although my main is bass guitar, which I still have lessons on.
Below, you can find the resources that I used to learn some of the songs I have played with other musicians for school concerts, including the official music video embedded on the right.
